Canada Night

April 25, 2023 from 4-7pm

Ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Canadian Consulate in recognition of the newly-named Plaza of the Americas in Downtown Denver. Guests will enjoy live Canadian music, food, beverage, and the opening of a public art installation by Canadian artist duo Julia Jamrozik and Coryn Kempster. As part of the collaboration, the Biennial of the Americas has partnered with Black Cube Nomadic Art Museum, who is taking the role as artistic director to commission this new, temporary, outdoor installation.

AMERICAS LEADERSHIP LUNCHEON

April 26, 2023 from 11am - 2pm

FÁBRICA DE ARTE AMÉRICAS
April 26 - April 30, 2023

Fábrica de Arte Américas is a cultural warehouse curated and produced by Fábrica de Arte Cubano to take place during the Cities Summit of the Americas from April 26-30, 2023. The space will host more than 100 artists from across the Americas featuring music, dance, DJs, fashion, visual arts and mapping available for all summit attendees.

BOMBA ESTÉREO
April 30, 2023

Bomba Estéreo will perform at the official closing concert of the Cities Summit of the Americas on April 30, 2023 at Mission Ballroom. Bomba Estéreo from Bogotá, Colombia is known for their electro tropical and psychedelic cumbia music. The corridos singer Gabito Ballesteros from Sonora, México will be the opener to the Colombian band.
